Whereas said Rainey is indebted to said Boyd for goods bought and shipped in transacting business in England and Ireland and for 5 shillings…6 tracts: (1) 300 acres on Gould’s fork once claimed by Benjamin Dumas but granted to Rainey 22 April 1765 (2) 200 acres granted to Rainey on Gould’s fork adj to Goulds, Zachary Phillips, granted 22 April 1763 (3) 200 acres granted 22 April 1763 on Huckleberry Creek above George Dobbs (4) 200 acres on Gould’s fork nigh to John Leveritt (5) 300 acres on south side of Jones Creek adj Jason Meador Jr, Burlingham Rudd, granted 22 April 1763 (6) 200 acres granted 22 April 1763 on head of Murpheys spring branch, nigh Henry Fortenbury where Patrick McCapock once lived.
