Joseph Phillips married Agnes Rhoads in Surry County.

(According to Riley Lampkin�s rootsweb file, this Joseph Phillips was born 30 Jan 1800 in Surry County and died 18 Aug 1865 in St. Francis County, AR. He married second Sarah Caroline Price 20 May 1829. However, he shows William Phillips and Mary Creed as the parents of this Joseph, which I think is wrong. I believe the son of William and Mary (Creed?) Phillips was born July 6, 1790, married Catherine Stultz 23 April 1815 and remained in Surry County his entire life. I believe the Joseph Phillips who married Agnes Rhoads was probably Joseph Ridings Phillips, the eldest son of Abraham and Sarah Ridings Phillips.)
