Polly Phillips married Josiah Owen in Surry County.

(According to several rootsweb files, Josiah Owen was born circa 1795 and was the son of John Thomas Owen and Margaret Hunter. Josiah and Polly�s children included Augustus Foster Owen, Wilson Mordecai Owen, John Owen, William D. Owen and Margaret Owen. This indicates to me that Polly might have been the daughter of Foster or Mordecai Phillips. Note that the Foster Phillips bible indicates Foster and Rachel had a daughter named Mary Ann born 17 Feb 1796. Margaret Hunter and Rachel Hunter were sisters.)
